Compared, honestly
Keeper vs I Miss You Memorial
Keeper and I Miss You Memorial agree on the thing this category most gets wrong: a memorial should be paid for once, or not at all — neither of us sells a subscription. Keeper Basic is free with up to 5 photos and videos; Keeper Plus is $99 once. Here, free includes 12 photographs, 10 approved memories and the service with RSVP; Plus is $197 once. Their price is lower; what each unlocks differs, and this page lays both columns out.
Every price verified October 2026 from Keeper's own pages and ours. We make one of these two services; the sources are at the foot, and when Keeper is the better choice, this page says so.

What Keeper does well
Keeper deserves credit for the honest model: one-time prices, free pages that never expire, and a plain written line we respect — 'We do not delete any profile.' Their $99 Plus is the lowest one-time unlock among the major services, the Concierge tier at $350 is a genuinely affordable done-for-you option, and features like unlimited memorial pages under one account and event pages are practical for a family tending several memorials. Keeper also owns GatheringUs, the facilitated-events company, whose memorial pages are migrating onto Keeper.
Where the two part ways
The free tiers tell the philosophy. Keeper's free page holds 5 photos and videos, with moderation, the family tree and advanced privacy waiting behind the $99 unlock. Our free page starts with the family's approval of every word, the service details with RSVP, the timeline and the tree — because the week a family needs those most is usually the week before any buying decision.
Above the line, the $98 between their Plus and ours buys the things we think a memorial is for: their actual voice on the page, visitors leaving voice memories, and the page played slowly on a TV at the service. If those do not matter to your family, Keeper's $99 is the better spend, and we mean that.
When Keeper is the better choice
- Budget decides, and $99 once against $197 once is the deciding line
- You are tending several memorials — unlimited pages under one account with Plus
- You want an affordable done-for-you setup: their $350 Concierge against our $2,000+ (currently sold out)
- You want many separate event pages for gatherings
When ours is
- You want moderation, the service with RSVP, the timeline and the tree without paying — our free tier includes them
- Their voice matters: voicemails, recordings, and voice memories from visitors
- You want the page played on the TV at the service
- You want export of everything on every plan, not images with the paid tier
- You want to see exactly what you get first — our living example page is public

Questions, answered plainly
Is Keeper free?
Yes — Keeper Basic is free with a memorial page, guest book and tributes, and up to 5 photos and videos, as verified October 2026 from their pricing page. Keeper Plus is $99, paid once; Concierge is $350.
Do Keeper or I Miss You Memorial charge subscriptions?
No. Both are one-time models: Keeper Plus is $99 once, our Plus is $197 once, and both free tiers stay online without payment. In a category full of auto-renewals, these are the two services that do not sell one.
What does the $98 difference buy?
Their voice — voicemails and recordings kept on the page, voice memories from visitors — the page played as a presentation at the service, help with the words, and a free tier that already includes moderation and the service with RSVP. If none of those matter to your family, take Keeper's price.
